2022 GEDC Industry Forum WEBINAR

How can universities demonstrate their societal impact?

Hosted by Monica Holly Collins, Researcher & Lecturer at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School Paris

Societal Impact

Future engineering innovators, experts and leaders must act with the social, economic and environmental implications of what they do in mind. Educators, researchers and employers working together can enable this by embedding ethics, leadership and sustainability skills and mindset into education and research. Industry wants to engage with universities whose graduates will bring these sustainability skills to the workplace. And students are showing a growing interest in attending universities with strong ‘sustainability’ credentials. In this webinar we explored how universities evaluate and demonstrate their impact, for themselves, and for the stakeholder communities they serve.
